Unity in the Community Needs You!

VolunteerThe 32nd Annual Unity in the Community will be on Saturday, August 15th from 10 am to 3 pm at Riverfront Park, Clock Tower in Spokane Washington. Last year over 10,000 people were in attendance and over 150 vendors were present.

This large undertaking could not happen without all of the people who volunteer either the day before or day of the event. If you want be part of the volunteer team that makes the largest diversity celebration in the Inland Northwest happen, please consider the following opportunities

Event Set-Up – Riverfront Park Clocktower

August 14th at 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM / 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM

OR

August 15th at 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Unload and set canopies, assist vendors with their items onto golf carts, show vendors to their table.

Volunteer on the day of the event, August 15th.

Shift

1 pm to 3 pm

  • Clean-up (we can always use more individuals for this opportunity) Keeping garbage cans empty.
  • General Volunteer (help at information booth, assist with vendors, and other jobs that need to be done on the day of the event)
  • Volunteer in the youth area (help with giveaways, etc)
  • Cultural Village area
  • Stage Area

Tear Down: August 15th 3pm – 6pm

  • Load tables, chairs, UIC items into truck
  • Clean up any garbage in the UIC area

If you are interested in volunteering on August 15th, you do not have to stay all day. We have four shifts for you to choose between.
